Sightseeing Info

One of the most attractive points of AJMUN is that it will be held in Tokyo, the cosmopolitan city. Tokyo is one of the biggest cities in the world, but at the same time, it is the city which has the history that lasts more than one thousand years. The hotel is located in the very center of Tokyo, so you can easily go to all tourist attractions in Tokyo from there.

Furthermore, you can also have an excursion to Kamakura which has many historically valuable buildings or Onsen places such as Kawaguchiko near Mountain Fuji, or Hakone.
Kyoto and Hiroshima would be also good choices. The first few days in the new year are called “Shogatsu”, the most traditional days in a year. You will definitely be able to experience a Japanese traditional culture then. All temples and shrines will be busy with street stalls because most of the Japanese people go there in Shogatsu.

Asakusa, Tukiji and Ueno will be introduced below. You can go all of three places very easily from the hotel. Visiting shrines will be also mentioned.
