第1回日中韓ユース・フォーラム “Fostering Partnerships for the World” 報告

2010年9月12日から17日、日本国連協会主催、日本模擬国連運営協力の下、日本で初の模擬国連の国際会議を含む、第1回日中韓ユース・フォーラムが開催されました。

湘南国際村と東京で日中韓の大学生70余名がミレニアム開発目標について模擬国連会議を行い、シンポジウムでは国連と混迷する世界における北東アジア三国の役割について議論しました。また文化交流を通して、各々の国の関心や理解を深めました。

本事業は、日本・中国・韓国国連協会の連携の下、今後も中国、韓国と順次開催を行っていく予定です。

The First Japan-China-Republic of Korea Youth Forum
“Fostering Partnerships for the World”

In 12th to 17th September 2010, The First Japan-China-Republic of Korea Youth Forum was held on the organization responsible by the UN Association of Japan in consultation with members of a student secretariat provided by the Japan Model UN Society.

Around 70 students have gathered in Japan to hold Model UN Conference simulating the UN High-level Plenary Meeting on 10-year Review of MDGs (Millennium Development Goals), scheduled for 20-22 September 2010 at UN Headquarters, New York. Also, the Youth Symposium was hold to discuss about “Global Peace and Development: The Role of East Asia and the United Nations.” In addition, cultural and intellectual interchanges, as well as touristic events were considered important and included in the program.

This Forum is planned to hold continuously in China, Korea and Japan by the UN Association of the three country.
