What is National Model United Nations Conference
The National Model United Nations is held by a non-profit organization called the National Collegiate Conference Association (NCCA). Over 20 Model United Nations Conferences are held in this event which around 3500 students come from all over the world to participate in.
This Year, the NMUN was held at New York Marriott Marquis Hotel, Sheraton New York Hotel and the UN Conference Rooms. Over 6300 students and professors ranging from the United States and Canada to Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. The attending students were distributed to 21 UN agencies and international agencies at each hotels' conference rooms. In addition to this conference, Guest Speakers' program was taken place as a part of the Program. This Program was designed to stimulate the intellectual mind of the attending students.
The opening and closing ceremony was helded at the United Nations General Assembly Chamber and the conferences were held at the Marriot Marquis Hotel this year.
