Message from our president-
Thank you for visiting Komaba Model United Nations site.I am Takuma YOSHIZAWA, the president of 2011.
"What is a university life? What should I do?" these are the questions which many students have propounded.
As a matter of course, there are no absolute answers.
The situation of the international society is much or less the same one. Each side claims their "justice" and tackle the questions without answers, which usually cause the difficult problems.
In Model United Nations, we are trying to understand and consider this "the world without answers", by entering into it temporarily.
One of the strong points of Model United Nations is that this activity has been done widely. It is not limited to Komaba; the students from various parts of Japan and the world have joined this activity.
Personally, I had an opportunity to participate in the First Japan-China-Korea Model United Nations last September. Through this event, I was able to share invaluable time with the students from China and Korea and realize the world-wide network of this activity and the students.
Now, I believe that I have gained a lot from this activity. For me, joining this activity is one of the best choices I have ever made in my university life.
