Q.why did you join Komaba MUN？
A.I joined the Model United Nation because I wanted to meet students who have similar aims with mine and gain much knowledge through something practical. I would like to work in an international organization in the future. However, I had few opportunities to meet such students before I joined MUN. With MUN, I became able to share my vision with some students and also became able to see international issues from multiple perspectives.That's why I joined MUN.

Q.Can Students of the science course join?
A.Yes,of course! We usually learn together in advance about the topic we are going to deal with in the meeting. It enables you to make up for your lack of knowledge. Actually, I am a student on the science course, and had been worried about the lack of knowledge, especially about history and international situations. However, the pleasure of the meeting made me forget the anxiety.

Q.Do you only study in your activities?
A. The main activity of the Model United Nations is to have conferences and one of our goal is to learn about international problems. So we study in order to gain necessary knowledge about the agendas.
But of course we don’t always study. We often go to restaurants and bars together.
We also stay up late and talk with each other during camps.
Model United Nation is a circle for studying, but we also have many enjoyable events.
